Have lots of POPPING fun with this Pom-Pom Popper! The kit includes:
- Paper clips
- Balloons
- Rubber bands
- Launch material
Directions:
1 - Cut the bottom off of the paper cup.
2 - Tie a knot at the open end of the balloon.
3 - Cut the top 1/2 inch of the balloon off, keeping the larger part with the knot.
4 -Stretch the cut end of the balloon over the bottom of the cup.
5 - Use the rubber band to keep the balloon in place around the bottom of the cup.
6 - Place launch material inside the cup
7 - Pull back on the knotted balloon and release to launch
Use the other cups to try other launching materials - like cotton balls or marshmallows. What happens when you use a different sized cup or launch a different material? Grab a ruler or tape measure to collect data taking measurements for the distance traveled for the different poppers.
