Story Time
January Story Time is serving up something soup-er!
Book Babies (infants/babies not yet walking and their caregivers) meet Wednesdays at 9:30 AM with songs, stories, and sensory fun for our “Soup’s On!” theme. (Library Closed Jan. 1)
Toddler Time (walking toddlers and their caregivers) meets Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 AM for more “Soup’s On!” adventures with your little ones. (No Toddler Time Jan. 20 – Library Closed)
Story Time (ages 2-5 years) meets Tuesdays at 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM, and Wednesdays at 10:30 AM to explore the letter ‘S’ through these fun themes:

Jan. 28-29: Lunar New Year of the Snake
La Hora del Cuento en Español para niños de 2 a 5 años se reúne los lunes a las 10:30 a. m. para explorar la letra ‘S’ a través de estos divertidos temas:

All children should be accompanied by an adult. Join us in the Community Room for stories, songs, and so much fun!
Chess & Game Club
Learn the art of chess and other games with the master of fun and strategy, Nick Allison. Tweens and teens ages 9-18 are welcome to join every Monday* from 4:30-5:30 PM in the Community Room. Game supplies will be provided.
*There will be no Chess and Game Club on January 20 due to our Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closure.

Great Reads for Girls
Great Reads for Girls is meeting on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 PM in the Community Room for girls ages 8-11! This month, we’ll be reading and discussing When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller, a magical and heartfelt story about family, courage, and the power of storytelling. Grab a parent or guardian and join us for a fun discussion, crafts, and great treats!
Family Friendly Films
Looking for a fun movie afternoon on the big screen? Join us for Free Family Friendly Films on Fridays at 3:30 PM in the Community Room! We’ve got new releases and beloved classics lined up:

Books for Boys
Books for Boys is meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 6:30 PM in the Community Room (for boys ages 8-11)! This month, we’ll be reading and discussing A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park, a moving story about courage, survival, and hope. Bring a parent or guardian, dive into the book, and share your thoughts in a fun and engaging discussion. See you there!
Armchair Traveler Challenge: Apprentice Artist
Reading can inspire creativity and we are painting a masterpiece! Take an epic journey with us this year as we explore the world of art, from color and style to history and industry. Armchair travelers will read books to create a portfolio of canvases that earn them opportunities to enter the final drawing for our grand prizes.
