This session’s challenge: Learn about pneumatics and build your own juice pouch stomp rocket. Get ready for a blast of fun!

Calling all adventurers! Dive into a world of imagination, strategy, and camaraderie with our new Dungeons & Dragons program for adults. Whether you're a seasoned Dungeon Master or a curious beginner, this is your chance to embark on epic quests, battle fearsome foes, and shape your own story in the world’s greatest tabletop role-playing game.

Led by an experienced Dungeon Master, each session will transport you to fantastical realms where the only limit is your creativity. New to D&D? No problem! We'll provide pre-made characters and guidance to get you started on your journey. Come solo or with friends to forge alliances and make memories that will last a lifetime.

• When: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

• Where: Madison Library District Community Room

• Who Should Attend: Adults ages 18+ who are ready to embark on thrilling adventures, solve mysteries, and conquer dungeons.

Share your writing with other storytelling enthusiasts or join to make friends! Join the Creative Writers Club for ages 18+. We will share your favorite piece of writing and talk about why writing is our passion.

For teens ages 12- 18. Bring your friends and listen to music while you make an awesome art project to take home with you.

For this activity, we will make a tin box craft with matching magnets!

Bring your handwork, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or whatever it is you do for an informal evening of crafting and adult comradery. For April and May, we'll be meeting in the activity room.

For tweens and teens ages 9- 18   Learn the art of Chess and other games with the master of fun and strategy, Nick Allison. Game supplies will be provided.

Strengthen your connection with your child in our 8-week parenting seminar designed to inspire and empower caregivers. Based on the Positive Action Parenting method, this seminar will be facilitated by Alison Cruz, Partnership for Success Program Coordinator at Eastern Idaho Public Health.

Whether you're a parent, guardian, teacher, or caregiver, this seminar offers a supportive space to gain fresh perspectives on parenting, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions.

In this session, we’ll dive into the popular storytelling archetype, the Hero’s Journey, and explore how it can improve your writing.

In this classic role-playing game, you create your character, choose how they interact with the story, and use dice to decide the outcomes of your actions.

This event is open to all teens (ages 12 to 18). Both beginners and experienced players are welcome. Bi-monthly sessions will occur; check calendar for scheduled dates.

The game will consist of one, 1 to 2 hour session for first level characters (opportunities to level up are provided between sessions). Experienced players may use their own character if they wish, but pre-made characters will also be available. All characters should be made using only the resources available in the core 5th Edition player’s handbook.
